About us
Flower shop "Ruzica" is one of the oldest flower shops in the center of Split.
Flower shop was founded in 1989 by famous florist Ružica Cikotić which at the time already had 20 years of experience. By her side in the flower shop, as a child, was her daughter Sofia who today when Ružica is retired continues her work. Over the years our arrangements decorated numerous events and we attended every flower fair in Split where we regularly received awards for our work.
Our love for flowers, many years of experience, and always new ideas are the reason why many of our clients have been with us since day one, and the number of new ones is increasing every day.

My name is Sofija, and I am the proud owner of Ružica Flower Shop in Split.
Behind every floral arrangement I create are knowledge, experience, and a commitment to continuous professional development. I completed an international Floral Designer education programme based on European standards and the Swiss professional training system, under the guidance of internationally renowned floral design experts. I continuously expand my knowledge through professional courses, workshops, and masterclasses led by some of the world’s most respected florists, including European and World Champions in floral design. This ongoing education enables me to combine exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and contemporary international trends to create unique floral arrangements for every occasion.
– Completed an international Floral Designer education programme based on European standards.
– Trained according to the Swiss professional education programme.
– Educated by internationally recognised floral design experts Peter Hess, Marie Hess-Boson, and Vincenzo Antonuccio.
– The programme included comprehensive theoretical and practical training in floristry, floral design, botany, architecture, colour theory, and contemporary floral design techniques.
– The education programme was conducted under the auspices of VM Institute – International Floral Art.
